The School Community of Saint Joseph School in Carteret is dedicated to
proclaiming the Gospel message of Jesus Christ and providing an academic
program excelling in the development of the talents and intellectual
abilities of the students entrusted to our care.

At St. Joseph, our curriculum places strong emphasis on basic skills. It
is our belief that an excellent foundation is essential to each
student’s future success.
Academic offerings include math, language arts, science, social studies,
computer technology, music, art, library, and physical education.
The curriculum follows the guidelines set forth by the Catholic Schools
Office of the Archdiocese of Metuchen and is constantly evaluated and
updated by the administration and teachers of the diocese.
